Samuel is a highly experienced leader in impact investment and financial services, with over 18 years of experience in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has a deep understanding of the investment landscape and specializes in food and agriculture finance, SME finance, and sustainable private sector development.

As the co-founder and Managing Director of Samawati Capital Partners, he led a team of over 15 professionals, overseeing projects in more than 20 countries. Under his leadership, the firm facilitated over $300 million in investments through sub-advisory services for major impact funds and provided advisory services for clients like the World Bank, Mastercard Foundation, and Palladium.

He has held senior positions at prominent financial institutions like Equity Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. Currently, Samuel works as an investor, senior advisor, and consultant, focusing on development finance and impact investment for various leading organizations.
